“From the ease of booking to the speed of treatment and the service attitude of the staff, the experience was impressive,” his father said. “Compared with the UK system, China’s healthcare feels far more efficient.”

In recent years, more international patients have chosen China for treatment. A 75-year-old Canadian patient reported waiting six months to a year for treatment in Canada, but completed care in China within six days. Others, including British content creators, have shared similar experiences, praising the convenience and range of medical options available — from Western medicine to Traditional Chinese Medicine.

While healthcare systems in countries like the UK and the US offer strong medical standards, patients often face long waiting times or high costs. In contrast, China has continued improving appointment systems, treatment efficiency, and service quality, while investing in advanced medical technology.
