Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital · For Those Who've Traveled from Afar
When you arrive in Xi'an after crossing continents, the last thing you should have to do is figure everything out on your own. From arrival and admission to examinations, consultations, and daily practical support, your path has already been prepared.
A smoother arrival, from airport to hospital room
Starting from Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, you can take Metro Line 14, transfer to Line 6, and continue to the terminal station: Xi'an International Medical Center. From there, a dedicated indoor passage connects the station directly to the hospital lobby.
There is no need to step outside, cross busy streets, or struggle to ask for directions in an unfamiliar city. You can simply follow the signs with your luggage and arrive directly at the hospital.
If you would prefer a more comfortable arrival, a private transfer can also be arranged. Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with your name and will take you directly to the hospital.
Easy to reach, easy to navigate
- Address: 777 Xitai Road, High-tech Zone, Xi'an

- From Xi'an Xianyang International Airport: about 1.5 hours by metro, around 50 minutes by private car
- From Xi'an North Railway Station: about 1 hour by metro
Familiar technology, supported by local guidance
Much of the equipment here will already feel familiar. Siemens, GE, and Zeiss are names many international patients recognize immediately. The hospital is also installing the first proton therapy system in Northwest China, while the country's first Zeiss KINEVO 900 robotic microscope has already been in clinical use here for two years.
The technology is comparable to what you would expect from leading hospitals back home, and in some cases, newer.
What may feel unfamiliar is the process: registration, payment, collecting medication, scheduling examinations, and moving efficiently between departments. That is where our team steps in. You focus on your care; we help manage the rest.
You do not have to navigate the system alone
- Guidance through registration, payment, and pharmacy collection
- Coordination of examinations, consultations, and follow-up scheduling
- In-person support throughout outpatient and inpatient visits
- Clear step-by-step communication so you always know what comes next
If you need something familiar, it is here
On the inpatient floors, a shared kitchen is available for patients and families who need it. Basic cookware, utensils, and everyday seasonings are provided.
If hospital meals are not to your taste, or if you simply want something that feels like home, you are welcome to cook for yourself. For many international families, small comforts like this make a meaningful difference during treatment and recovery.
Language should never stand between you and your care
Whether you are in the clinic, the ward, or an examination room, a colleague can accompany you throughout the process. They are not there simply to translate words. They understand medical terminology and know how to communicate effectively with physicians.
If you need to ask a question, clarify a concern, or explain something important, you can do so with confidence. And if you prefer to speak with your doctor privately, space will always be given.
Respect for religious and personal routines
If you need a quiet place to pray, meditate, or observe a personal ritual according to your own tradition, arrangements can be made. International care is not only about treatment quality; it is also about making sure you feel respected while you are away from home.
You will not be the first person to come this far for care
Over the past eight years, tens of thousands of patients from Europe and North America have come to Xi'an for diagnostics, treatment, follow-up care, or medical visits combined with a short stay in the city.
Their reasons are often similar: waiting times are too long, costs are too high, or both. When you arrive, you may find that you are surrounded by people who made the same decision for very practical reasons.
When you are ready to come, just send us your flight details
You take care of the decision to come. We will take care of what happens next — from arrival and hospital entry to guidance through each step of your visit.
